So who else hasn't had a win for ages?

I tend to find I do moderately well if I put the effort in. Just can't find my comping mojo lately though. I only entered a Times hourly comp once in the whole weekend!

I think everyone is down on their luck at the moment. I've had a few little bits (which I am very grateful for) but I had an amazing first half of the year - as you can see by my sig. Comparing now and this time last year, I had two big boxes full of prizes I had put away for Christmas - I only have three items up to today

But it just goes to show just how many more compers are around and how less competitions are out there.

Me too I enter literally everything except the Twitter comps, and I haven't won anything in a few months. I did get 2 cash prizes totalling £600 quid earlier in the year, but looking at some people's signatures they seem to win several comps a month! Waaaaaaaaaaahhh

I'm starting to feel really disheartened. I know we say keep plugging away,got to be in it to win it etc but I feel over the last few months that wins are few & far between. I don't know if its because loads more people are comping now but I enter hundreds a day with not much in return. I've been desperately trying to win baby prizes for last 6 months with no luck! I get at least 40-50 emails a day of junk since comping & they're getting on my nerves as I always tick the no contact options. I'm seriously thinking about giving it another week & if my luck doesn't change I'll think I'll have a break for a while. Anyone else feel like this?

it seems to me that it was easier to win prizes a year plus back, someone who has been comping a few years may be able to confirm if they are finding the wins fewer and farther between these days - sign o the times?

My last win was 4 months ago although I did have a couple of weeks off from comping after my last win (smoothie maker) but since starting again I have entered more comps than ever before and nada

I'm more of a lurker (as I never get there first with new comps! ) and don't comp much compared to most but I have been reading the forums for a number of years You only have to look at the first few pages of I won to see tonnes of "my first win" threads, there are way way more of these than there used to be. The last time comping featured in the newsletter really seems to have attracted a lot of people who are sticking with it this time. I am happy to see it as I love reading I won and it is nice to see people finding a hobby they enjoy, does of course mean less wins to go around though :rotfl:

I haven't won anything since July despite hugely increasing the number of competitions I enter in the last couple of months (have atleast doubled the number I enter each day). Sods law eh! Hopefully something coming soon for everyone who hasn't seen the comping fairy for a while x

October has been a really bad month for me. I started comping November last year but it wasn't until July that I started to have wins. It got better in August then slightly dipped in September and came to a screeching halt now!

But must never give up! People are still winning. Just check the IWIWIW board.

No wins since a couple of smallish wins at the beginning of September, the October column in my Wins spreadsheet is looking very forlorn.
