Hi,
Since my LBM back in 2009 - I have virtually been trying to get debt free alone, my OH who is accountable for half of the debt does not seem interested in reducing or clearing it at all. Infact he seems more than happy to just muddle through life! We have discussed it before and he has said its just the world we live in - grrrr makes it very difficult and disheartening! anyone else faced with the same dilemma? xx

Hi there,
Life is full of ups and downs and marriage can be the same, both i and my OH have debts, our own debts but he is very good at budgeting his own money and paying his way, me i like my money to be mine. lol. but i took it to the debt free page to sort myself out and sort my debts.... at first i didnt tell my Oh what i was doing. but as soon as i started reaping in the cash from ebay sales and getting rid of old furniture etc, i started a pot and its growing, so i eventually told my oh and now hes so interested and helpfull, he cant ebay but he will stand in the line at the post office with my ebay parcels, marriage is joint and life itself is what we make it. im trying to make mine easier and its working. little by little. try it envolve him and see how it goes. much love pantherchick xxx.0 -
Thanks so much for the reply it makes sense actually as when I was first fighting the debt after a few months my husband was impressed and thrived on it too - seems so long ago now that you tend to forget, hopefully we can get back on track and he will start to feel more positive about it all xxSnowballing my way out of debt!Catalogue [STRIKE]£1600 [/STRIKE] £1502 - Catalogue 0% [STRIKE]£900[/STRIKE] £860 - CC £2390 - OD £3500 - Family £1050 - Laptop £280.81 - Loan £3485.81 - Wescott £2814.56TOTAL OCT 12 £16021.18:eek:Member of the Sealed Pot Challenge #18400
