Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 14th October 2012

Hi Everyone!!!
Well made it to Friday with 90p to spare - then got stopped by someone raising money for a charitable cause, so donated that!
So spent exactly what I pledged:
£25.00/£25.00
Next week am pledging £25.00 again.
I now have a £50 fund there specifically for days/weeks when something unexpected crops up - or if am having a BAD week and just need a treat. It's not there to go into at every opportunity - and if I go into it - I have to refill it from my budget asap (effectively reducing my weekly spend!)... but - it does act as a sort of buffer. We all have rubbish weeks - and this enables me to still try and stay within my planned weekly budget - but not overspend into money allocated to other essentials and thus feel even more rubbish. It's working for me and am not seeing it as cheating hehe!!! :T
Good luck everyone!!!
PS. Sending up a BIG thanks to a kind lady who made me a delicious loaf of olive bread that saw me through a few days meals when my food cupboard was looking very unappealing... It enabled me to stay on track!!! Thank You!!!

Aaa and today I bought some jeans (red to go with my new festive knitwear) and donated some money to the charity cake stall in the office.

Well, I didn't get tempted by the shops last night... so I am declaring a green week at £14.02/£15.
Quite pleased with myself for getting back on track.
I still don't get paid until the end of the month though so another very frugal week ahead. I will pledge another £15 for next week. Need to find something to do with the kids tomorrow as their dad is out and about all day and they will drive me mad if we stay in the house all day. Thinking about making our Christmas pudding.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Morning everyone!
Dentist out the way now for another six months but am very miffed with my spending this week. Would have thought not having to travel as much this week would be better. Another bad spend day yesterday.
£11.00/£10.00
Which means total for the week:
£74.17/£70.00
My first red week since officially starting this challenge
Pledging £70.00 again for next week. Have a good weekend everyone
