Some areas of Aberfreeze are cheaper than others. To buy or rent? What is your budget? Have you thought about sharing?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

To buy, needs to be as cheap as possible as we will need to finance through a buy to let mortgage. Will consider a studio flat. Have not seen anything less than 70k. DD is in a student hell hole and trying to find her something liveable. Doesn't need to be fancy but something that we can make clean and tidy. If you can recommend good web sites to look at that would help us as we have not been able to find a decent selection.0

You really can't have looked very hard. There are lots of flats for that price in Aberdeen.

That's why I asked for help. I don't live anywhere near Aberdeen so don't have the local knowledge.0 -

Presumably you would like somewhere close to the uni / college? Which one is she at? I would be pleased to advise you further.
You say "cheap as possible", I would advise against that approach as there are some real !!!!!! places where I would not want my offspring to live. How much can you afford?
