Hi All,
My story is that around six years ago I got into some financial problems and accrued credit card debt with Sky Card some of which is still outstanding. Around the same time I went abroad to work for a while. The last payment on it was, I think, around December 2006 but cannot be absolutely sure but the default was put on in March and thus come off my credit record in March next year.
I have just today received a voicemail message on my landline from Capquest and not sure how to play this. What are they like to deal with. Do I call them back? Do I ignore and wait until I know it is defo statute barred.

Up to you. Do you want to pay them? If you know you owe the money (which you clearly do), and are going to pay them - I've dealt with them before and they aren't unreasonable (in my experience, like all others - there will be horror stories).
If you are determined not to pay, then you can avoid them until the debt will be statute barred. Entirely your call.0 -
Definately ignore. If it bothers you, unplug the phone or change your number.
Wait for them to write with something you recognise.
Don't assume that they know it is approaching SB and don't (for goodness sake) tell them.BSC No 248
