Don't know of a forum but get in touch with the Business Gateway. They should be able to help with advice. Or Federation of Small Businesses.

My brother in law was made bankrupt and needed to open a business bank account. He couldn't get a business bank account but opened a basic bank account in his name only (not the company name). His accountant told him that as long as he only uses this account for business transactions there would be no problem. This account was with the nationwide. However, I have a basic business account with the Natwest. Try them

if you get turned down for a basic ban account ( personal not bussiness) always challange and insist it goes up tot he next level. Working in the sector i do, this happens a lot with people on my case load but the rules have changed inregard to the ways that banks can pick and choose their customers and rightly so! I have had to challange a number of decisions about bank accounts for people and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been given a bank account!
I hate banks! I think thats where all the devil people go to live and SPAWN! ggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
