Hi all
I'm new on here, I'm looking to sort out my debts cos I'm sick of stressing & worrying about them all the time.
I'll be honest, at the moment I don't know exactly how much I owe, I'm in the process of finding out. I was going to send off to Experian & Equifax to check which companies, how much etc etc. I've also started to work out exactly how much I have coming in & going out each month.
Is there a better way of checking how much you owe??
I'm sorry if it's been asked 7 answered before, but I've considered an IVA, I'll be honest I don't know that much about them, but I don't want to consider bankruptcy - it just isn't an option.
I've also been told to conact CCCS <?> but I'm just getting confused to be honest.
Any advise from fellow DFWs would be MOST welcome!!!
Thanks for reading!

You're doing the right thing - working out what you owe, and what your income / outgoings are. Both IVA's and bankruptcy should be considered last resorts. (Fees for IVAs can be very high).

You may want to look at Experian's guide to IVAs and your credit raiting, to make sure you understand the implications of entering into an IVA. It may well be the best choice for you, but it is a serious step and you should get professional advice before deciding. You can find this IVA guide in the Credit Report Basics section of the Experian site: https://www.experian.co.uk/learningzone.
