Ideas for 10th birthday/party

Hi everyone hope you are all well

Im wondering of anyone can help with my daughters birthday in a months time.

She would like to do something special but I'm really strapped for cash, we've done the whole sleepover/makeover/cinema/pizza/movie etc and wanting something really original but something that won't break the bank either, does anyone have any magical ideas? Lol.

Dd is very easy going but worries about leaving friends out etc so she would panic if only 2 could come (think about 6 girls would be good)

I have a pretty small house too but could get the younger 2 babysat

Help! Lol

JJ

  • What about a jewellery making party. I did one last year. I got a load of little beads off ebay and some wire and the girls made some gorgeous little beaded bracelets and keyrings for their school bags.

Cost about £12 for everything. Kept the girls quiet for ages and they loved their items to take home.

They had some One Direction on the stereo some Schler to drink (that non alcoholic grape juice...can't spell it) and some nibbles while they sat at the table and it was all very civilised.

    alice in wonderland party
tags attacted to old keys as invites
    plastic roses in the hedge
all the girls dressed up and they played games connected to alice wonderland.
tea was served on china plates and cups
will look at pics if you need more info.

    spa party
we had one room with make up tables set up and the other had foot spas and lounger chairs for massage
after make over they all dressed up and did photo shoot
food was pizza and sundas they made them selves

    hollywood party

we had a long roll of red table cloth and roll it on path as they came in.
we made oscars out of salt dough and engraved letter of each girls name before we cook them then painted them. then on party day we had a awards cermony each girl got a award and flower and said a speak that was funny
they each performed for there friends
and the girls fave bit was walking down the red carpet doing loads of poses and having photo took will other girls cheered.
food was grape juice in win glasses and posh looking food like at a adults buffet

    fake wedding
we did this for my hen night with the girls but could be used as birthday to.
all the girls dressed up as brides with flowers and we took photos and talked about what they would like from there big day they also made scrap books and we had wedding buffet with a wedding cake a favours for all guests.
we went in garden and threw confetti all over each of them. then they spun around in there dresses we have some great pics

    Thanks everyone great suggestions there!

Would like to steer away from a spa party if poss, we have done similar before plus one of the girls has a very bad skIn condition so i'f hate for her not to be able to take part in something.

For the jewellery making party do you need to be relatively skilled or could I pick up ideas on YouTube?

Cupcakes - dd had actually mentioned this and I found a lady who does cupcake parties but it was £30 per person which I thought was very steep! I can't bake to saved life, dd thought it was hysterical whenever a bake sale comes up at her dance group as I usually buy something and pretend I've made it whoops!

I like the Hollywood idea - wonder if I can play twilight into this as dd loves twilight and the new one is released day after her birthday.

Schloer's a must!! (don't think I can spell it either lol)
  • hmm i bet you could if you google it someone will have more than likely done it look at images
