  • Morning all, haven't posted for ages, been struggling to keep up. Thought I'd better say hi before a new thread starts. Off to the mainland (Banbury) today for a few days, staying with BIL for his DDs wedding. Trying to resist bringing my coupons in case we end up near Ts! Have a great weekend and no doubt you'll all be well settled in a new thread by the time I get back xx

It's freezing here. A day in again waiting for deliveries. I nipped to T's last night for pencils and found these Bic ecosolutions 8 pencils sel £1.90, went through the till at 40p bc 4020. They are great pencils for kids as they have an ultra hard lead, so don't break easily:D
Also popped into A's and got koppenburg pear cider 10 can pack sel £5, this was £10.98 in there the day before. Anyone who needs vegetable oil their own brand 3 litre bottle was going through at £2.50 which is cheap.

Jamsponge so sorry to hear the bad news about the cove being red:(
Has anyone heard from Bensonsmum? I hope she's ok not seen her posting.
Big hugs to all who need them.
I hope everyone has a fantastic day.

Good morning fellow bargain hunters and deal searchers...and others.

Having spent some time on this thread now, I feel at home already. I want to share a song with you that brings a tear to my eye. It was also the song that was playing when my next door neighbour's house got raided. I'll never ever forget it. But yea.. this song reminds me these days of this thread, the people here that come and go. The ups and downs, the commardarie.. etc. It also manages to conjure up the sense that there is a better place elsewhere, and some of us try other places, but always seem to return here. Home.

    Enjoy.....

I've got the special k honey clusters. I'll be buying them in Asda. Which do you have to be using in Tescos?

Have the honey clusters and the biscuit moments. Only getting them from T's as I do not fancy cycling home with them from A's! Had enough trouble trying to find somewhere to put the 9" high sea salt and balsamic vinegar cracker crisps! Was not expecting the box to be that size, they are rather nice though. Will separate as appropriate.

Evening all, wondering if I should buy the make up thing on grabbit as one of er indoors Christmas presents?

A few questions for the experts if I may,

Is it really worth £300 ?
    Is it good quality ?
Never heard of the website, is it safe ?
The mrs uses clineque or something, is she likely to like this ?

    TIA

Don't know if the Elizabeth Arden grabbit is still working but I think anyone who wears make up would love it;)If MrLala bought it for me as a surprise I'd be very pleased and its definately the same level as clinique:)
