Emily_Rachel wrote: »Good afternoon. I am still a bit puzzled by this APG business. I can see it is great that S&G in A still compares with T at 20p, but why is it great that the price in A is now 1.89? Surely this just means you pay out more, but don't get a bigger return as you still buy it for an effective price of 18p. Or am I just being stupid? ( Always possible in my case! ) Oh and has anyone tried the 3 for 10GBP Albani wine offer today? Any chance that offer is not kicking in? Thanks!
You're right, the price you effectively pay is still 18p
But it means people might find it easier to get to the £40 limit to use a £5 conditional spendApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Just had fun in Currys over the £10 voucher. Ordered the item that Call of Trouty linked to and asked for store collection. Store said no voucher due, call customer services. Called them whilst in shop and woman on phone said "there's no way your getting a £10 voucher for a 97p spend"
After educating her on the offer on the web site and her checking it, she then tried to tell me I couldn't get it now as you have to spend £30. I then asked her to familiarise herself with her company policies as I was aware of the terms and conditions of the voucher, but I was not trying to use a voucher, just get the one due to me which I could then put towards a£30 spend.
She wasn't having any of it and went off to get advice. 2 minutes later and she is telling store to give me a voucher :-)
I hate having to get stroppy with people to get what I am due.0 -
Cheap Fairy washing up liquid
Thanks to FAIRYMONSTAR on HDUK for this:
At A's
740ml Green Apple and Lime Blossom for 40p
650ml Original fairy 40p
740ml pomegranite and honey 40p
Looks like its global too, SEL says 40p
Afternoon all - i spent about 3 hours planning my shopping list and it all went to plan in A (apart from them being OOS of the special K clusters). I also wombled a £70 A receipt.. yippee (APG not back yet).
I looked for the washing up liquid but it was priced as 80p in my store and was all sold out.
I also took a punt on the cheese, even though i know the T offer has ended and it's not on MyS. will be able to let you know at 7pm.
My £80 womble from T last night produced.... nada! Cheeky so and so's, only compared half of it. T poop checker is just that :rotfl:Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0
