I only went to england once for a holiday and couldn't wait to get back home. It seemed like everyone was moaning non-stop about everything under the sun - even about the sun! The only saving grace was I could hardly understand the accents so didn't have to put up with too much. :rotfl:
Well you generalise too much about people in England really. Are you talking about people visiting England, people living in England, people working in England or all of the above? :rotfl:
But I agree with you totally on one thing. People have had loads of stuff for free here (I've managed on shop lol) and some still aren't satisified. That's a real shame and I;m really surprised, actually. I've had laods of help with my stupid questions and I'm really grateful. I'm just sad to see it being spoiled because I was really enjoying the cameraderie, gossip and general loveliness and then it just went ape.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

TBH I would suggest speaking to the local RSPCA type place about the dogs....longer term it isnt looking too good for them and they will probably end up being rehomed anyway
Please dont take what I am about to say the wrong way. I mean what I say with the best intentions and really hope that I am not going to offend you.
You seem to take on a lot of other people's problems. While I accept that you are a lovely person with a heart of gold, sometimes you have to take a step back as they are not your problem. Someone else will have to look after the dogs.
If anyone deserves a weekend away from everything, it is you.
Please go on your weekend away, and enjoy it xx
I won't take anything the wrong way, it's nice so many people are concerned
The dogs are being split up at Xmas, she's keeping the older ones (4) and he's taking the younger ones (6). He's got to find a new house as he can't bear to have the older dogs upset.
I have to go round because that's where my dogs are but trying to find somewhere else for them to go for a while. Not having much luck with that as most places only have room for a few days and I need somewhere longer term as I'm trying to get work done to my back to allow the dogs to have somewhere warm and dry for days when I'm back to full time work so I don't have to risk them being unattended for long periods in the house and destroy the place.
I have chosen to be there for these people because they helped me when my husband died, they are really nice people but it's her sister who's the problem so I try to avoid her a lot.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I get that completely, i really do, and I hope that the situation re the dogs next weekend sorts itself out. If I was closer, I would come and feed them
I would still urge you to take your weekend away
