I didn't realise is CL close to sewer works too.

You notice the smell as soon as you get to the 'welcome to Bmth' sign on the A338(wessex way), and the 'waterworks' are right by the hospital!!!

I find the store a bit smelly, when I was upstairs the other day a man was telling his wife he thought it might be something in the air conditioning and something about Legionaires disease. Not sure of the connection myself but it is an awful stale smell that is worse at the back of the store and upstairs.

I got one pack of boys 4p socks and a lone ladies bikini bottom that was with kids stuff? couple weeks ago. No sunglasses, paper to be seen. I was very very lucky with 4p scarves last year, let's just say more than 10. :o

Yeh I find the store to be a bit smelly as well! I really don't like the layout either. I did the aisles to be quite narrow and it's always crowded in there!

Will have to get sniffing next week when I take mum over for her appointment, have never noticed any smell at the hospital. Just inside Ts. :o

Yeh we always wind up the windows when we see the sign! It's really not a nice welcome!

The guy was really nice and offered to send a £20 gift card which was the value of the coupons that were taken from me.

The store was the B**rnem**th extra on C*as*le L*ne

Have never had a problem at this store, even with high value ones.:o

hi all noticed a few people are concerned about youngsters for one reason or another i really feel for you all my dd2 was bullied badly at school and it affected her badly so i know how worrying it is and how hard it is to stop so hugs to you all and to anyone else that is poorly or needs a hug xx

worried about mum at the moment she fell yesterday broke her wrist in 3 places is in hospital waiting to get a plate and wires fitted. she lives on her own and i am worried how she will cope, i am going to hers later to have a tidy ( shes very messy ) and fill the freezer with ready meals and will go in every day but any suggestions of things i will need to organise or do to help her thanks.

Ouch that break sounds nasty - seen lots of great suggestions as I have been catching up - I would definitely second 4p suggestion of Age concern as they were great when my Dad needed some extra help

They aren't clearance in the D@rl!ngton store. I saw 2 this morning, both £72 each :( We're after one too.

Ooooooh are you another local :hello::hello::hello:

The shopping trip won the day - for local peeps (I did try PM'ing whilst out and about but not sure if all went through) - lots of cheese in BA labelled as £6.55 but scans at £1 - also lots of the Discovery paper

I have really spent far too long on here this afternoon, DD3 is already home from school and I have hardly got anything done except eat my lunch. And it will be tea time soon.

    Catch you all later. :)

Have a good rest of day.xx
  • afternoon all

trying to catch up before im out again. tried the coke this afternoon after work so will report back later. Also chucked in a cheese seeing as A had them, i know its risky but hey that shop only cost me 30p!

had a shock though as SA started telling me about people playing the system and one particular customer buying lots to abuse it

on the reloaded front only one T's does it here and they will not take the coupon. for the same reasons i saw mentioned earlier. I wonder if its the same store? My T had no cheese, label removed and the variety pack back. No Nutrigrain either :(

Can someone just tell me the barcode for the cheese. I have not been toAsda in weeks and need to use up my vouchers ( although I wont say no to another APG). I know deodorant is still working so will do a Versus Tesco shop.
Having a bad week, diagnosed with Arthritis in my hands this morning and major family trouble concerning my looking after Mum.
    So need some retail therapy.
