My son was a nightmare when it came to leaving laundry in his bedroom so after months of me telling him to put it either all to one side of the room or take it downstairs with him, I stuck all his dirty socks and undies inside his pillowcase. Never had a problem after that :)

Now why did I never think of that? :rotfl::rotfl: Mind you, I think I would have had problems finding his pillow case, he was that bad!

Everybody talking about their first games consoles, I remember when my father came home proudly bearing ours - Pong! It was a simple tennis game with a line on each side of the screen, a line in the middle, and a "ball" bouncing between the two (for anyone that does not remember)!

Also, when I was 16 I spent a small fortune on a Vic 20. I spent ages on that programming basic games, wish I had gone into programming really but was not an option at the time. I still have it upstairs, along with another one that I bought for spares, and it still works!!

zagubov, thank you, I will mention that to him, he has joined a Steert Dance club but is the only male. Unfortunately uni girls not interested in going out with someone looking 13/14. I'm sure he will come out of his shell soon as when he was in Air Cadets he used to go to all sorts of places and got his solo gliding certificate at 18. He also went to work at the Para Olympics and each time he was worried about going because he didn't know anyone but came back having had a great time.
CQ123, he is in a 6 bedded uni res, gets on with his flatmates but they are all heavily into drink & drugs something my son is not (thank goodness). They have no respect for other peoples things ie take what food they like from the fridge & cupboards, burn his pans etc. They have had so many fines for noise, filth and covering the smoke alarm with a bag, that they are talking about moving out, oh I hope so.
JJJ, don't worry I coined the term LUMP as there were a few of us in the nursing home that were vertically challenged so we became the LUMP society.:rotfl:

Hope things get brighter for him. Is there a gliding club near UCLAN. How about a Parachute society? Starting one if there isn't one already. looks good on the CV!

The girls will come round to him if he plays up the little boy lost act. I've had a student who really milked this as he looked younger than the other students but he let them mother him and lets his sense of humour win them over.

Good luck:beer:
