    Welcome out of lurkdom :)

It's a ploy....... so that you have to go and see family (and of course, stock up on goodies whilst you're there :) )

Here is that link... slightly later than I hoped to post it, but good all the same ;) some fantastically creative and simple 'home-solutions' for everyday stuff:

Thanks for this - there were a few things on there that I might try like the old pen spring around a charger to stop it bending - we've lost so many chargers because of this happening :)

    Christmas cake time :)

Must remember to buy the bits for the cake this week so I can get baking at the weekend - I always like to get DS1's birthday out of the way first. I'm starting to feel quite christmassy with it getting dark early and being cold :D

Got trouted on beans and reloaded again. Not having much luck with them.
    No cheap slow cooker.
I did find the £5 boots though so got some for dd and mil. At least they will be happy. :T

Definitely has to be Tayto Cheese and Onion for me :D
Want some right now but just had lunch - later :D

Tayto cheese and onion here too but spring onion and beef & onion are joint second.
Champ. Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh! *drools like homer* would love a bowl right now even though I'm just back from a joint birthday meal in Villa Italia on University Road, just adore their lasagne. Totally stuffed but champ's a good idea for dinner tomorrow thanks.

Try them sandwiched in a nice, soft bun or tiger loaf, spread with butter first.:o
