I think the laws of averages tell us that of lots of people do nice deeds eventually you have to be in receipt of one and I jolly well hope thats truth.

redfox, above anyone else I feel terrible for you having to moderate this thread at the moment. It must have been and still continue to be such a difficult and draining process, wading through all the nastiness. I know one of my posts was removed and I am extremely sorry for taking the bait and being pushed to respond. How you keep your cool is beyond me and I take my hat off to you.

People, if you have any respect for this thread and for this wonderful lady that works tirelessly to keep the Elite thread intact so we ALL have a place to share, not just our amazing bargains and passion for saving money but to share in eachother's lives, then please moderate your own posts.

There are people on here I have no respect for, yes but it is apparent that some are on here just to cause uproar and discord among our community regardless, and responding to them is giving them exactly what they want. I do not have anyone on ignore, I simply skip through posts that I disagree with but the facility is there for a reason.

I fear that this comment will be totally lost. I am aware that there are some that will laugh at comments like mine because knowing they've had such an impact and caused problems for so many is what they thrive off. I don't want them to win out. Please can we all just agree to take the high road from now on and not respond in any way to posts we feel personally are trolling.

Ultimately, this thread is on it's last legs and if a line isn't drawn in the sand soon, it will be gone forever. I for one don't wish for that to happen and I know there are a great many more genuine, lovely contributers on here than those wishing to ruin it.
