That's always my job too. :rotfl::rotfl:

And mine but not sure what I would do if anything happened Mr TS would make mince meat if he fell. I remember the step ladder falling away from him and he was dangling out the loft one day, he wanted me to help him but he couldn't understand that with one foot still on the ladder why I could not move it.

Oh and Dodo had the pleasure of meeting Mr TS today. Can't remember his exact words but "mad" did come into it. :rotfl:

phew.....trying my hardest to catch up today,...but have spent literally all morning on the phone to Ts and Avios sorting various problems :rotfl:

wanted to check out what it was going to cost for 4 days in Disneyland Paris for the 4 of us next year...£364 and 28200 avios points :D

Then sorted out 3 refunds Ts owe me, 1 by debit card and 2 by cc points....orders were from June, rang a couple of months ago and sorted this...well I thought I had :rotfl:

and just rang my mum for a chat...she was at T CS desk having problems as they refused her a refund as she'd used a moc....so rang HO, they've rang store and told her to go back in for FULL refund... honestly it irks me so much when I think of all the non savvy people who have been diddled out of money by the trout of the day at A/T/S/M etc :)

anyway...waiting for an update to see what happens instore, and off back to catch up on here...

oh....and good afternoon to everyone :D

ETA - just had a text from Mum to say CS desk now fully trained in how to do there job properly and full refund given :D
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

  • Morning all.
I got this e-mailed to me last night but when I came on to post site was down.
Can I just check to see if you could recycle the asda ones the same day once you've got your APG? If you can this is better than the Toscos offering, I'm too impatient to wait a week to use them :p

One of my colleagues lives near the new C'reagh store and was sent a booklet of conditional spends. She didn't need this weeks one so I combined that with a clubcard one my dad had plus an APG £5 off. Spent almost £60 on ink, reloaded, beanz & bavaria. Used coupons plus a £10PP and paid just over £10 cash. Will be returning an item though so technically I'll only have spent £2. Oh and that shop got me another £10PP :D
    Suggestions

    1. Spend in tesco I did at same time as a wombled £5 off £40 sada.
    2. Buy tonic for your gin.
    3. Buy a cooked chcken in sada for the tea- take the stress out of cooking before your bingo:rotfl:

On a more serious note for the first time yest I was told one apg voucher per transaction. Told this by one I do not like in westie. Will try another lady. They were only little wombles £2 ish each

Ohh which one was that so I know who to avoid? I had a similar troutish story in Ards last week with a woman who claimed she hadn't had an APG in ages (she must have forgotten about the one I gave her a fortnight earlier). She tried to say they weren't accepting them any more and then went on to say it was one per transaction. I don't know where they get them from! Went to her again last night just because I could and not a peep out of her.

There's something on the go at the mo where you bring an old but decent toy to argos for recycling/charity and you get a £5 off voucher. Can MSE folk make this work for us- multiple vouchers and what qualifies etc- eg cuddly toy?

I actually did this this am - sorry if already answered - have n't readon - but its one voucher per item/bag/box - and 1 voucher to be used per £35 spend. I did it purely to give away toys that my little one don't use anymore to make space for xmas - we gave 2 huge boxes and 2 wee trikes - they were very happy and Im happy to see them go to a charity that want them !

I offered a few places and they didn't want used toys - I mean in mint condition ! Batteries working etc?

Me and the wife checked yet again last night while in Tosco but still couldn't see anything :o:o

We bought 3 packs ( on offer) to check when we got home, still nothing..........until I turned on flashlight on my phone and stuck it behind the packet, we then could see a barcode on a winning packet :D

I might have known you would find a way. ;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
