Afternoon guys :j I had a very good leep lat night. Got up at 8am to let the pups out no accidents during the night
and we all went traight back to bed. I set the alarm for 12 noon as I had eye test appointment at 2.30pm but I did my usual snooze, snooze, snooze and didn't get up till 2pm
Appointment now changed to Saturday at 3.40pm. I have my flu jab appointment at 11.30am on Sat so should be up for that
I have been trying to catch up ever since on here, but still some wway to go  Just had the pups out for a nice walk, and to get some fresh air and I feel ok today. Going to do a bit more clearing the worktops in the kitchen now, and then set those two mouse traps as I forgot to do it last nightcheesyball wrote: »:otell them 12 men to come out of discussions..I AM loony.. Its the Bestest song ever well obviously/ one of..
Thanks for playing that link cheesyball - Mr 3Dogs' fave song, loved hearing it again, and again :j3 Dogs - thinking of you - keep strong and don't be too hard on yourself. It might be worth having a word with your vet re the older dog - they might be able to advise. If its stress related they have pick me ups - could she have a bladder infection which is making it harder she doesn't know she needs to go until its too late?
Re the mouse - my 2 cats (new last year) unfortunately bring gifts from the field over the road but excelled themselves yesterday (or whenever it was). Very funny smell coming from coat cupboard under the stars - which has smaller bit at back that goes around in L shape - which is where I havve stored the cereal I managed to get). Tricky for me to get to - so sent OH in when he got home from work. Thought it would take a while to empty everything out an dlocate gift. After 5 minutes he reappeared with dead mouse found in DS winter coat pocket (which he hasn't worn yet this year) Cats must have brought it in and it found somewhere to hide and expire OMG! Anyhow hope that little tale cheered you up.
Well will be quite for a few days from me, off to hospital for my last chemo (hopefully):j - glad its finishing but finding it harder to go for these later sessions. Hope Aunty LaLa bearing up.
Thanks for this Morgy. I will be getting Bess checked out at her 6 monthly health check. I must look up when that should be. The smell of the dead mouse in the trap when I got home on Sunday was awfull and I had to scrape some of it's skin off the floor after picking it up   The smell lingered even after using flash bleach wipes over the area so had to light a candle in the kitchen and spray with Febreze - lucky I had some handyLaughed at the dead mouse in jacket pocket. I wonder if kitty put it in there for later :rotfl: :rotfl:
I do hope that this chemo proves to be your last,a dn that further radiotherapy, etc sees you given the all clear in the end. It must be so hard for you, and your family
I must thank you for your lovely messages, and pm's, it does help so much when you are on your own :A I look forward to my daily evening phone chat with friends Steve, Kit and Andy as they brighten me up so much :j :j Steve & Andy are coming up here on 1st November to decorate my hall, so I have to clear that for when they come   They are going to hang my new curtains I bought when down in Portsmouth, and put together my bookcase for the sitting room too. I am going to ask them to pull out my tumble dryer and fridge so I clean out any mouse mess from behind them and put some peppermint oil down to deter them. Someone mentioned the ultra sonic deterrents and I realised that mine was taken out a while ago and I forgot to plug it back in, so I am going to search that out and get it working againMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I'm now the [STRIKE]proud [/STRIKE] owner of 2 hearing aids.
Blimey....I didn't realise how blinking mutton I was :rotfl:
I walked through the town to collect my T Direct order and I could actually hear a couple behind me's whole conversation!
I reckon I've got bat like hearing now
The only downside so far though is the amount of static interference I'm getting from the lighting etc. inside the shops.....I fully expect to walk back outside looking like this!
Are they in ear or over ear? Be careful when it rains.0 -
