My mum has very small feet and she has told me she buys the largest boys black socks, so should I be looking for the 7 - 9 ones for her? Sorry, don't have kids so I don't know if the sizes above are ages or shoe size.

No they would be equivalent to mens size 7 to 9.

I would have said either the 12.5 to 3.5 or 4 to 6. What shoe size is she?

I like to think that but largely society judges you on how you look & how you are dressed.

Absolutely true. When I worked in Cardiff I would get accosted by the make up and perfume ladies in debenhams when in my office clothes. If I went in there on a weekend in my jeans and hoodie they wouldn't even catch my eye. I always found it amusing.

I think clothes play a big part in how you are judged by society but how confident you are also plays a part in people's perception of you.

I'm not sure about my top 5 films as keeping the list to 5 can be quite hard as my opinion changes etc .
I've tried to .list 5 films (in no particular order ) that have made me laugh the most ...this was based upon when I first viewed them ( many moons ago)

    Blazing Saddles
    Privates on Parade
Monty Pythons ...enter what you want here .
    Sleeper
    Airplane .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Most of these would be on my list but with a few additions - Sucker for a romcom so these would have to be:

Ghost Ahh (the very lovely Patrick Swayze)
Pretty Wpman (the very handsome Richard Gere)
    Bridesmaids
    Dirty Dancing
    The Enigma Code

Thats all I can think of atm

Hi. boring tom here. I went to tesco this morning but I couldn't get any cheese. There was a little yellow sticker saying "out of stock" It said temporarily so it may well be the case that a new supply will come instore later. I didn't ask. Maybe I will have a walk up there again later. It's quite an interesting walk. There's a few other shop windows I can look in along the way. It's nice to see what they are selling. But you have to be careful of the traffic of course. I'm thinking of taking a long bath in a minute. I've put some new wallpaper up and it is quite stress-relieving laying there whilst looking at the flowery pattern. Oh well. I'd better go now. I'm just wondering if I should go back up to tesco first to see if the cheese has come in yet - or maybe I should get the bath first although it is advised not to go out straight after a bath. Anyway, maybe no more cheese will come in. Maybe it's just a temporary offer. I didn't ask. Haven't managed to get any of the cheese yet. None at all. To be honest I haven't tasted that variety before. Maybe I won't even like it although I'm not really that finicky so to speak. If I can get some I'll let you know what I think of it.

:D boringtom...why do i get the feeling you are having a lighthearted pee-take about the mundane chit chat that appears on this thread :rotfl::rotfl:

but well done for making some of us laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

and if you are actually serious, then I apologise....go and have a bath and relax about the cheese...its not that great :D
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Lady I work with has just been in an extra and tried the cheese (just in case) - it was the correct pack but scanned at £6.55 (as it did for me this morning)

Has anyone got any in Tesco today that scanned at £1 please? Thanks IA :)
