This thread is nothing without people posting and helping eachother. End of. All this bickering serves no purpose other than to remove a great source of bargains and a wonderful sense of community. For many, this thread is a lifeline both emotionally and financially and we've seen how it's hepled others through tough times.

So what is the point of all the squabbling? Listen up, I have something interesting to tell you. You can all post what you want, where you want and when you want. If people choose Facebook over MSE then who are you to stop them? If people set up their own private forum, again, who are you to stop them (and if what I've heard is right, I'd rather that kind of talk was kept in a private forum)? This isn't primary school where a teacher comes along and makes everyone share the toys fairly and sends the cheeky kids to the naughty corner. The more comments are made against others, the more you will force those people to continue along the path that you so detest whether that be FB, PTS, HUKD, private forums and whatever else goes on that we don't know about.

Do you think is it possible that people could stop rising to the bait and let the mods take action where required? Is it possible that people could post without snide comments? If you don't like someone, use the ignore feature. I'm sure I'm on a few ignore lists and that's fair enough. This is real life where we are all different and no-one can make us all get along. What drags this thread down is snide remarks where there is no need other than to try and get one over.

No single person reading this thread could have found out and availed of all the recent glitches on their own so for the greater good, why can't people accept that this is a team effort? Everyone is welcome as this is a public forum but some have been pushed away due to the actions of others. To that end, I hope cosmic-dust is ok as I haven't seen anyone mention her recently and I know the goings on here contributed.

I've no idea if I will ever be back in the same capacity that I was previously (phew say some!) but I will continue to help where I can, share what I can and treat others as I would like to be treated. Should I fall down on these points, feel free to quote this back to me.

P.S. If you think that examining choccie wrappers to find some hidden message is a glitch, you need to get out more.

P.P.S. I am not a member of any other site/group, past, present or future other than MSE. That includes FB, HUKD, PTS etc. I can't see that there could be anywhere better & friendlier (mostly) to get bargains and have a laugh than this thread on its own.
