Hi FloFlo , it was an intentional reference to the new Red Dwarf X series that was on t'other night .
Chinese whispers became distorted to whiskers (by Cat) and it became more and more obscure and surreal as the episode progressed .
Hope all is well with you and the weekend brings bargains alenty for you .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

I rarely go to Brum now. Yup, have to agree with the places you mentioned, mind you there's a fair few places like that round by me - the 'wrena', the priory, etc! Sometimes you just want to shut your eyes when on the bus just to protect them!:rotfl:

OMG! I thought I was the only one who thought like this! Some mornings, particularly like today, when the sun is shining and you are in your house, you can pretend to be somewhere nice.. and then you get in the car and there it all is.. in a matter of minutes.. and you just feel assaulted by the sights you see... boarded up buildings, weirdly dressed people, out of work drug addicts, 6.00 am boozers, broken whiskey bottles all over the pavements, old people struggling with nobody helping them, buildings that are burnt out, its like a bombsight. But I am working on getting my husband to move to Brighton. We would obviously have to downsize, but it will be worth it. To wake up to the sea...

oh heck I assumed whiskers was code for cat food so did a mad dash to MSM as I didn't buy any Iams on the glitch. Trust me to get it wrong.
I'm no good at secret talk:eek:

  • :wave:good morning everyone

If you are registered with Groupon, check your emails as I was sent a £5 off anything code this morning.

    Have spent it on -
A4 Wall Mount Personalised Photo Calender for £5 (up to 83% off)
......so free! (well apart from the 2.99 postage, but still good :)) I tried the code again and it would not work as personalised.

Off out now have a good day everyone.

Good morning :). I have to confess to being more of a part-time lurker, but I will post immediately if I discover anything of interest. Obviously I would be sad if a PM system was introduced, purely because I wouldn't be in on it :D.

My thoughts though, are that maybe Sada are not monitoring this thread, maybe instead they are being alerted (either electronically or via SAs) to any sudden glut of APGs of an unusually high amount - say £8/£10? They surely must have the capability to examine the shop which generated that apg to spot the glitch? They could then, immediately, take steps to close the loophole. That would seem easier and quicker than thread-monitoring. Just because they allow APGs up to £15 doesn't necessarily mean they don't look at the cause of them......... Their actions would, of course, co-incide with people posting shop results on here, giving the impression the thread is being monitored.

If (big if :D!) I am right, I don't really see any way round it other than people doing lots of small shops rather than a couple of biggies, in the hope of staying under the radar.

Anyway, hello everyone and now I have come out of my cupboard I will try and pluck up courage to post more :rotfl:

i'm pleased you came out, please dont shoot me, im not an asda spy!:rotfl:,but felt i would be accused so havn't posted anything.if i was lucky enough to find any kind of glitch then i would share with everyone :)
  • Just got my PPs back. Can't believe they were EXACTLY as I expected! One for £6.69 and one for £6.70 :):)

Got to go and hang yet more washing out, then I might pop and see if I can find some chestnuts, no chestnut stuffing in the freezer so need to get some :)

On top of that I have the WHOLE DAY ALONE :D:D I can do what I want when I want how I want (apart from 3 loads of washing, washing up, waiting in for someone to drop something off, going down to pick up a Sunday joint etc :()
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
