Hello! Haven't posted on here in a while and have been struggling to keep up what with one thing and another.

DH bought one of the cheese packs in A's last night, have literally just run it through the price check and it's showing as £6.55 in T's. Wish I'd checked it sooner. :(

    1 x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar (2x350g) £5.00 £6.55
Oh dear looks like I have 10 blocks of full price cheese then :).
No worries would have bought it and paid that anyway just not all in one go :D. But still hanging in there as it does show £1 on msm and people are getting it at tescos.
    Tick tock :rotfl:

I remember the first TV we ever had was a small Bush, with about a 9" screen and the casing was bakerlite. It took about 10 minutes to warm up, didn't come on until about 4.00 p.m. Went off about 10 and always played God Save The Queen. All the announcers spoke as if they had all been private school. All the men had bow ties and dress suits and the women had like evening gowns on. Do you remember Sylvia Peters?

God really showing my age now:rotfl:

I'm afraid not abbeywoodangel , I suspect she might have been an announcer but i agree with your observations of early TV ,the plumin the mouth especially on the Beeb went on well into the late 60's and maybe the 70's .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

bl00dy moles everywhere.....they always seem to come out when theres a glitch :rotfl: sorry state of affairs when we start to question peoples motives and who is actually who they say they are :( seems like theres more than a few with multiple user names on here after all....

nevermind, I'm safe in the knowledge I am who I say I am...I have no need to change my user name or resort to using different ones....and if I ever do find a glitch I'll be popping it on here as this is where my money saving life began, and I owe this thread and many posters a lot of thanks :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
