I will need lots of hugs tomorrow after yet another school meeting.
DS was excluded on Wednesday afternoon for aggressive behaviour so don't see how things can get much worse:(
Hope everybody is ok speak tomorrow xxx
So sorry to hear this. I might have mentioned this before? Get in touch with your LEA and ask About their Inclusion Service. they are a service attached to the LEA that assists with children who need extra help to ' fit in', for want if a better phrase, at school. They have been very helpful to my son at school.
I really feel for the position you are in. I have been there and it's really hard. Also remember you have the right to ask for your sons needs to be assessed. The school should do this but if they don't you have the right to do it yourself. Its not good to have to do this if your not the pushy type, but that's what it takes sometimes.
I do hope you get things sorted. Pm if I can help you in any way x0 -
no problem, i couldn't work it out either, every time i tried to use one of my (cough cough) CC's it said it was already registered so couldn't link it to a new account, I telephoned CS yesterday and they confirmed they just register you with one and send it within 10days;):T
me again.. where do I enter the codes please?
I've done it:beer:0 -
Why is it women are never allowed to be tired? OH is snoring on the sofa and I am equally as exhausted, yet someone has to be awake to watch our 2yr DD and to make sure everything is ready for when we go away tomo. Just waiting for last load in dryer, then off to bed. Sorry should have said moan alert!!0

Artha , in our T's the diabetic ice cream on the RTC for 55p .
Not sure if nationwide .
Thanks for the thought fourp.:) Havn't tried any "diabetic" foods yet but the general advice from diabetes.co.uk is to avoid them as they are:
1. Usually expensive
2. Generally no better for you than normal variants.
If they are cheap enough I might be tempted to try some for research purposes and see what happens to my blood sugar. Having said that it costs me 60p everytime I do a blood test as free test strips for type 2 diabetics have been withdrawn as a casualty of cost cutting:(
As you can see I'm still catching up and a long way behind(fell asleep after todays exertions on the hills). Might not have been so bad had it not been for some unnecessary postings last night:(Awaiting a new sig0 -
I do think it's quite possible that there are asda spies on the thread. Would it really be difficult to pass on the important information by pm and relate info on the thread by code?
If it means the glitches last longer I think it would be something worth considering, I was very surprised at just how quick the last glitch got fixed, with lots on here being caught out.
I have a copy of last nights shop and I'm happy to forward on by pm to regulars. I do think this is an idea that should be considered.
It is an idea, however, it may not work. Everyone is entitled to participate on public forums or Facebook groups as they wish and no doubt there are exclusive groups out there. However, how does anyone know who anyone is on the Internet? For all you know, the person you invite to the exclusive FB club or PM could just as easily be someone working for Sada, Tosce or anywhere else for that matter - just because they are regulars does not mean they are not or not feeding information to them.
I am not trying to scare anyone, as many have no doubt made friends online and most people are "genuine" and I like most take people at face value, but most of us don't use our own names and if we did you probably still wouldn't "know" who we are ...
Glitches will last for a long time or not depending on how quickly they notice and how easy it is for them to solve. We have seen this with the Sada, Tosce and others where glitches have lasted weeks, days or simply hours - with them available nationally or restricted to a few stores (which creates more frustration where various report it working but it doesn't work everywhere ). Whether you are able to benefit depends on you seeing the information in time, being in a position to act at the time and how quickly they sort their systems out. I am sure that they must have systems in place for spotting surges in sales of particular items (if nothing else, their re-ordering systems/stock control will have automated aspects to it - Ambrosia, Kelloggs and other manufacturers must have been rubbing their hands with the recent glitches).
So, enjoy them while you can but prepare yourself for disappointment if it doesn't work or has ended by the time you find out.

How can they exclude a 6 year old - stand firm with them and say you want help etc - ask for the lead up to the situation tat led to exclusion. If they can't provide the background to situation then he obviously isn't being supervised
Bug hugs xx
As a teacher I can tell you that unfortunately we do have children of that age whose behaviour warrants exclusion. I am not saying this is the case here.
But we have had a 4/5 year old spit constantly at members of staff, bite, scratch and kick them and other children and currently have a member of staff off sick due to injuring their back during the last incident.0 -
