Hello MMW,
How nice to see you. Did you get any nice moisturiser from the BS glitch. I'm using the cranberry soap at the moment. It's gorgeous.

The over wintering onions don't store too well but we get through loads anyway so tend to use them up quickly. Put them in anytime now through November. I put shallots in too in Jan.
Happy growing:)
I have terrible troublee growing onions, they never do well. Will overwintering ones be any better? Anything I should do to the soil to improve things? I'ts not clay but is a little heavy. I have some of the cheap growbags that asda cleared out recently so was tempted to lightly dig 2 or 3 bags in and then plant the onions in the mixture. Will that help?0 -
FK, my soil is very heavy and before I got a compost bin I had used bagged compost to did in. It seemed to work fine for me
