    thanks fourp, i cliked on the link and then the link for the 1 st ''50''p the one that shows is a 1972 one. did the ones prior to decimalisation have 50 pence on them. as i thought we only used pence after 1971:o

    Hi Zippy , not sure about this mate , I rememberr them coming out but was more concerned in spending them up tne snooker hall instead of studying them and if I can remember the issue then I qualify for the excuse of long term memory loss age related .

  • Just been TROUTED in Tesco Southport. Tried to buy 10 Reloaded and 4 Beans and a jumper. SA said she would have to get coupons checked, supervisor suspended transaction and took them off upstairs. Came back 15 mins later and advised me that I could not use them as they were photocopies, I protested that I had printed them and that they were genuine but she was not having it and I walked out without my shopping. I have sent an e-mail to HO as phone lines are not open today. Anyone know were I am going to stand on this one as, this is the only store I use and wanted to continue to stock up until vouchers run out of date.

  • Afternoon All
    Sunny but quite cold here this afternoon.
    Big Hugs to all feeling unwell.
    Mum has just had her Tesco online shop which was done with the codes a couple of days ago. The £10 discount was not deducted but a quick phone call soon sorted this. One item, Elizabeth Shaw Mint Crisps, were put through at full price but were showing as half price online. I enquired and the overcharge was deducted but I was told there was no dtd for online shopping. I was wondering if this was true?
    Problems all dealt with efficently but surely as Mum was doing a first ever delivery shop more care should have been taken not to get a 13.69 overcharge.
    Will check out the Elizabeth shaw in store tomorrow might be a good dtd. Shame no where local stocks reloaded.

    Glad to hear the cove is blue, and pray it stays that way. Sorry you are still feeling carp, sending hugs and send wishes for a speedy recovery x

    Oh my goodness :eek::eek:

    Had a neighbour knock on the door at lunchtime today, asking if i had any room for a trout!? - i had no idea what he was talking about (the first thing that sprung into my head was someone from TOSCO coming for lunch :o ) he then explained that he'd been fishing the night before ;)
    How i didn't burst out laughing when he was here i have no idea, but when he left i sure did and no one knew what i was :rotfl: about, so just had to share with you lovely lot as know you'll understand :p

    You were robbed - 1p a few months ago:rotfl::rotfl:

    :) we still have many 1p ones left , but 30 points for 12p is a good return especially if they double up the points in the future .

    How's your Sunday been MKS ?
