My first post here. I've been using this forum for the past 3ish weeks as a non-member to enter various comps. Never felt the need to register, partly because I am wary of my identity accidentally being revealed to strangers. Nevertheless, I felt that I needed to register so that I could thank everyone who takes out time from their schedules to post all the comps here.
Specifically I would like to thank weeowens - I won a pair of tickets to the Turner Prize exhibition through your post, Bucks_Martin - for posting the comp for the Snow White and Huntsman DVD, and an1179 for posting about the HotelGB comp (my first win).
I am addicted to comping now and these three wins have been amazing. So, once again, a huge thanks to everyone who posts and good luck to everyone!

Hi,you're very welcome :-)
Now that you've registered you'll be able to track your comps so that you do not duplicate any entry.
Some members do this by by just clicking the green tick & others tick the "Thanks" button as well as a "belt & braces" approach.
You can also now use the red "X" to mark any comps that are not of interest to you.
There are some great ideas in the guide here plus the 40 ideas from MSE
Since the 40+ was compiled a few changes have taken place so this is not quite the same :
"Some promoters exclude people who enter multiple times. To keep track of completed contests, press the 'enter' button on the forum. Next time, you visit the Competitions Time board, it will show 'entered' next to that comp. You must register and log onto the MSE forum to do this."
Personally I think this is a nice part of MSE that MSE admin mentioned:
"Always read terms and conditions to check if it’s one per household – rules vary for every competition. Don't forget to ‘thank’ the MoneySaver who posted the comp, by clicking the button below their post."
Here are the buttons :-)
