Hello guys,
Please can some one advise me of where I can source a xbox 360 as cheap as possible?
The best I can find is the recent posts re; boots' triple points offer etc however following the release of the ps3 I assume there should be a few more offers around?!
Thanks in advance

Hey FKLC, where do we begin on this one?
Well, for one, if you live in the right area (up North, mainly around the Leeds area) Co-Op stores are doing premium 360's for £150!! a crazy bargain, but very hard to find any!
What I am currently in the throes of doing is ordering through the Great Universal Catalogue! Its a fantastic price, but a real pain in the aris! Basically, I've ordered the premium with GoW, RRP £359, BUT, if you are a new member, you get 20% discount. Then, if you open an account with them, you'll get 10% cashback on your full payment (plus can chose 20 or 40 weeks interest free payments), and on top of it all, Quidco offers 6% on the deal. So in all, i'm to be paying £240ish! Its a good deal, but be prepared for a wait! I ordered on March 29th and am still waiting for mine. Some people are lucky and get stuff within a week, others I know have been waiting for over 3 weeks now! they say delivery can be 4 weeks, so expect a long wait cos they have warned you, but consider yourself lucky if they deliver earlier!
I think theres a good deal on the same package i ordered from a different web site, with 24hr delivery, for £250, but i found it on hotdeals, so check there cos i cant get on it in work!
Other than that, people are loving the premium plus GoW, GRAW2 and Crackdown package from Gamestation for £299, but, if like me, you wanted to save some cash, and not have games forced upon you, then go for one of the above options. You may be able to flutter eyelashes though and get a manager to give you any combination of 3 games, but I wouldnt bank on it!0 -

Hi,
I'm looking for the same sort of deal but i'm a bit confused by how the whole triple points thing with boots works online. I have about £20 to spend on my boots card and a double points voucher to use but these can't be done online can they, otherwise i may have to snap up a deal from Boots.

Hello, I just bought an X-Box 360 recently, but these look like the best deals going:
This has three of the best games (Gears of War, Crackdown and Pro Evolution Soccer 6) and is the premium bundle (which also includes a headset and one months' live subscription) at £289
http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3344113/XBox_360_Premium_Console_Gears_Of_War_Crackdown_Pro_Evolution_Soccer_6/Product.html
This deal is £15 more but you get all the things in the above deal except that you get WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 instead of the soccer game PLUS Live Arcade Unplugged, Project Gotham Racing 3 (a great racing game) and an extra wireless controller.
http://www.gamestation.co.uk/images/category/xbox360-combos.asp
If you find yourself using the 'Live' function (which is the main reason I bought this console, as my brother in Canada has one) then you have to buy an annual subscription. For £49.99 (£10 more than the standard annual subscription fee) this deal bundles the camera (which can also be used as a webcam for your PC) and a twelve month membership. It also comes with another headset and on-line UNO free.
http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/1720595/XBox360_Live_Vision_Camera_+_12_Month_Live_Gold_Subscription/Product.html
So, for £354.98 you would get the console, with hard drive, two wireless controllers, two live headsets, the camera, 13 months live subscription, Gears of War, Crackdown, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007, PGR3, Live Arcade Unplugged and Uno. And, with Crackdown, you get to take part in the Halo 3 beta test, which goes live May 16th at midnight PDT and ends on June 6th at 11:59pm - with three maps and new vehicles and weapons to use.
I know it's a lot to pay up front, but even taking the £149 core unit price into consideration - with the amount you would have to spend to buy the extra stuff (and apart from the wrestling game, these are all decent things to have, especially if you will use the console with more than one person) would take you beyond £355 - plus, there's a nice syncronicity of spending just less than £360 on a 360, don't you think?
I also just found 'Tomb Raider Legend' a the HMV site for £12.99, and I saw Amped 3 for the same price in store yesterday.

Its not the site I was looking at, but Gears of War and premium system are £249.99 at play.com (thanks to bargainboy over at HUKD for this one!)0
