Obviously butternut squash is nicer, but the carving pumpkins are still fine to eat.
I've just bought a huge pumpkin from Lidl - they were being sold for £1 and I picked the biggest and nicest. Also bought their courgettes and mushrooms and am going to make an enormous curry with it, most of which will go into the freezer...can't wait. Will get at least 10 meals out of it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
