I spend around an hour a day, joined in april and so far been a runner up once (for a 1 litre tub of ice cream voucher which i cant seem to use anywhere near me!). Cant seem to win anything at all, but having said that I like the thrill of thinking it might be me rather than not entering competitions and knowing i wont win anything! Im sure many others will have better stories for you (us) though! Just keep going, im sure we will eventually :rotfl:Comping Newbie, started 1st April and been a runner up once :rotfl:0

I upped my time in september & october but wins seem to have gone down
I spend about 6 hours a day compingproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
I did spend around 4 - 5 hours a day comping, but now I'm back at uni, I only manage a few hours on a Friday night and a few hours over the weekend.
Have won quite a lot over the summer and did think that it was down to the amount of time and effort I put in, because I've only won 3 things so far this month - links of london bracelet and charm, 2 becks glasses and something food based (chocolate, maggie's mix stuff) but not arrived. I have just changed my email address though and wondered if this had stopped my winning streak haha!0 -
i spend hours comping and my wins are getting worse and worse0

Over the last 3 weeks or so Ive had much less time for comping and my wins aren't anything exciting. Nothing so far for October. I had a really good August so dont know if its just a bit of a dry spell or just that I maybe haven't entered as many. I always do at least 2 hours comping, sometimes (most likely on a Sat or Sun) I can spend 4 or 5 hours comping.
Id like to enter my dailies (60-70) and a further 50 new comps each day, but I just dont have the time. I agree that Id rather enter with the anticipation of seeing a WEM or wondering what the post will bring me than not enter and obviously not win. Though I am starting to feel a little bit exhausted with it all and not sure if I can be bothered to spend all my free time comping if Im not getting anything out of it, especially if my free time is becoming less and less.
I must admit though Ive been quite lucky really. Ive only been comping since 29th April and have won over £1300 worth of prizes inc an ipad (loads of compers enter every ipad comp going with no win) which was quite early on in my comping hobby.
I do actually wonder if its a dry spell or my luck is running out a bit. Though a couple of weeks ago I did find a four leaf clover and still have it, but its not bringing me any luck ATM.
Im hoping during December I will gain some wins with the advents to keep my comping hopes alive. I keep trying to tell myself that its just something to pass the time and any wins are a bonus, but that doesn't help when those wins are not coming my way.
Hope they pick up for those of us on a dry spell soon.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56

About 2/3 hours a day. I go through the comps that have been posted that day, then a few dailies that I'm interested in. Don't do rafflecopter or twitter ones though.0

I've been comping a couple of months I think, and do a couple of hours a day - just when I'm waiting for tea to cook, or the bath to run!! I don't do the FB or twitter ones, just the online forms, so far I've won cheque for £400, panto tickets & meal for 4. Good luck!! x0

tis a bit random how long I spend in a day comping.
I simply go back to where I left off and start from there so Mondays take longer than Sundays.
as for win I had 2 big wins this years and maybe 7 small.
so if I think about cost per hour it comes to pennies
but its the possibility that keep me going
and oddly the more a prize would appeal to someone else (tractor mad nephew comes to mind) the more I want to win it
well that and an Ipad:D63 mortgage payments to go.
Zero wins 2016 😥0
