Aldi photo vs Snapfish - Comparison

Hi all,
Hope this is in the right place, feel free to move if I dun goofed. I recently saw a post on HUKD recently for 100 free prints at Aldi photo pay only p+p @ ~£1.50 (to get this offer register with aldi photos and they'll send you the code -which is iirc 100FREE)
Obviously this is a good deal in comparison to others who offer 40-50 free with p+p iro £2, although there was some discussion on the HUKD thread about quality of the prints from Aldi.
Coincidentally I have also made an order with snapfish for a couple of photobooks for xmas pressies for my grandparents - and also made use of their 50 free prints. Most of the photos on both orders are pictures of our beloved pets for the kids to keep - and therefore I have duplicated many for them to have their own copies. Therefore following are 2 identical uploads - the one on top is the snapfish photo and the one below is aldi. Both are suitable for our needs and although slightly different, I couldn't tell you which one is best (as a photo ignorant.) Hopefully this will help someone to decide which is better, and let people know about the tempting aldi offer (if the print is too their satisfaction.)

These prints have been scanned on my epson SX130 multi printer - fwiw on reflection I think that the aldi one is nicer - but happy for experts to tell me I'm wrong.
HTH someone.
BTW the star of the photo is Sizzles - what a cutie!
