. Also is there any threads for us trying to lose weight?

How about raita? Dice up cucumber really small, add chopped fresh mint (dried will do, if you haven't any fresh) and mix all with plain yogurt.
You can make as much or as little as you need, and adjust the proportions to suit your personal taste!:)

If you can mix the yoghurt half and half with light creme fraiche or light mayo, then add some whole grain mustard, a dash of vinegar and seasoning, this makes a lovely hm coleslaw dressing...

Second the Ratia, I have been experimenting with my HM yogurt for salad as also need to lose weight. I really love it witha bit of chopped fruit, I have tried apple, pear, pineapple and peach so far and love them all. I also tried cranberry sauce but think I used too much sauce.Slimming World at target0

ETA Bossy your dressing idea sounds really nice, I'll have to give that a go!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Try Yoghurt, a dash of sugar/ honey, powdered ginger (1/2 tsp) and a pinch of cinnamon. When drizzled over salad leaves, or even fresh fruit, it is just divine!0

Rather than making your salad dressing sweet why not try putting some fruit in your salad, I love having grapes, kiwi, strawberries, peaches, pineapple, orange or even grapefruit in my salads.
I haven’t tried it with yoghurt but I have used Pomegranate Molasses as an additional flavouring in my oil & vinegar salad dressings, gives it a sweet/sour kick....Mmmmm...Niiice!!!Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

here's one
Total low fat (0%) yoghurt mixed with juice of half a lemon and half a lime (or a whole lemon) and the puree from a couple of cloves of garlic which have been roasted and left to cool - (squeeze it out & ditch the skin). You could add a bit of chopped coriander, too - maybe a tablespoonful.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I do several salad dressings which according to my calculations work out at around 50 calories for enough for one of my large salads. My basic salad dressing is 1 tbsp low cal salad cream which I thin down with 2 tbsp water, shaking them together in a small tub. Depending on my mood and/or the contents of my salad I also add one of the following-
1/2 tsp wholegrain mustard
1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
1/2 tsp horseradish sauce
1/2 tsp honeyI like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:0
