Brown boots that fit a alightly larger than average calf

I'm having a total mare in finding some boots for the winter. I have a calf measurement of 17 inches, which is slightly too big for standard fitting boots and slightly too small for plus sized boots (from Evans etc). Ordered some Evans that have an adjustable additional zip on the calf and even with it closed fully, it was still too big. I'm aware that Duo have different calf sizes available, but i don't like any of their styles. I was hoping for a pair of brown boots, with a chunky (but flat) sole.
Any suggestions?

I was going to suggest these, but they are only left in a size 4.. I have some, very, very comfy and hardwearing, nice soft leather.

I have the same calf issue and I've found some Doc Marten cowboy-style boots that fit nicely, have a wide but not too-wide top.0

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried Marisota in the past, but not found the boots to be of a very good quality. I liked the Asda ones, but they don;t have my size! So, i'm still looking! Went shopping (again) today, but still haven't found anything. It's becoming a saga now!!November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game.
