How long before you got your first win?

I started at the beginning of this month, I haven't won anything yet, but so excited for my first win. When did everyone get their first win? And how often do you get to sit down and go through the comps?

i started comping in aug 2010 and my first win came out of the blue when a dvd & soundtrack dropped through my letterbox last post day before xmas, the funny thing was despite only starting comping a few months earlier i had stopped entering comps at the beginning of december (didnt know about advents then doh!) as i was beginning to think i was wasting my time as i hadnt won anything in first two months (early comper syndrome hit`s us all!) needless to say since that day i havent stopped again! not the biggest of wins but it gave me a buzz and that excitement stays, you will hit times where you`ll wanna stop i know i have but i keep thinking this maybe my time so never do! i spend my free time entering as many as im interested in even if im sitting their for a few hours, keep your fingers crossed and be lucky! (sorry if i waffled on! :-) )

I was lucky enough to win a book on a daily contest within 7 days of entering competitions. (Was with bangzo who now do a weekly contest on facebook) - I have lots of lovely little wins.

Dont just enter for big prizes, those types of wins are few and far between, enter for all sorts of treats you would like (Even a free bar of chocky is nice), you may get lucky. xx Good luck.

I started in Aug 2009, and enter anything from 50-250 contests a day, depending on commitments.

I'm in the same boat as you... been comping now for six weeks, averaging about 50 a day. Still no win but hopefully its just around the corner!

Been comping since 16th of Septemeber and had my first win last week of some conditioner from Aussie... was very pleased!

Then today had a phone call from ITV Dickinsons Real Deal saying I have won £5900! Randomly I have also won a sachet of Maggi recipie mix and some Maoam headphones today too... It's been a strange but amazing day.

I won a coin purse within a couple of weeks of entering competitions.

I'm chronically ill so have alot of time to do comps but I don't always have the energy!
