No they are not second hand items, they usually sell clothes that have failed a quality control check and they are therefore classed as seconds.0

i think they are factory rejects, so new but just with imperfections which means they cant be sold in ordinary shopsYes Your Dukeiness0

Not always with imperfections - sometimes end of lines. I go to one once or twice a year and buy all my work clothes - usually can really nice suits for a fraction of the shop price. Recommend Boundary Mill if you have one near you! Or a designer outlet like the ones outside York and Oxford.0

Sometimes they are 'seconds' i.e. not sell-able in a regular high st. shop but more often than not I think they are usually left over stock and past season items.
I have been to Bicester Village and GunWharf - both have a variety of shops that sell some regular high st items for pretty low prices.
e.g.
'Polo Ralph Lauren' polo t.shirts £35 from the Ralph Lauren shop
Nike tracksuits from £35 from the Nike shop
Austin Reed suits from £150 from the Austin Reed shopsomething missing0
