Hi folks, does anyone know of anywhere who do free trials of coloured contact lenses....non prescription ones?....I no longer need specs.:j

  • you might be able to blag a few daily colours trials but in my experience (as an optician) they are a bit wishy washy and the colour doesn't show up much.

    I'd be surprised if many places will do free trials of monthly colours as it generally would not be profitable to the business. Most opticians give free trials in the hope that patients will sign up to a regular supply of lenses from them. However, people who buy coloured lenses predominantly buy a pair as a one-off for a special occasion, maybe once a year, so it's just not cost effective to give them away for free.
