I got the kitchen in red last year and was really chuffed with it - **miles** better than any plastic ones I've seen and other wooden ones just all seemed too expensive to justify.

We got this (in red) last christmas - it is fab, my 2 have had lots of use out of it and it looks good in their room

They also have the dolls house on half price like they have done the past few years - I have just called asda about this as it says it 'Comes complete and includes furniture for all the rooms and two figures' - apparently it does not come with furniture as I suspected from the reviews! It is available separately but still a nice dolls house!

Thanks for this info regarding the Dolls house. My friend had ordered this for her wee girl and was under the impression that the furniture was included. She's trying to cancel this now and I have just ordered one from somewhere else where the furniture is included.

Would you mind sharing where you got one with furniture :)
  • Kitchen oos!! Gutted would have an ideal Xmas pressure for my dd,,:(
  • Been looking for a wooden play kitchen for my DGD but most of the quality ones are SO expensive & I definitely wanted wood so this would have been perfect if in stock so will keep my eye out in case it comes back in stock? :D
  • I see they have amended the info on the dolls house to say furniture not included.

Definately worth keeping an eye on for when the kitchen (and dolls house) come back in stock, I am sure they will as these are some of Asdas best selling toys around Christmas

The reviews say there are a few different packs available so I am not sure if that is still the case and how you know what you will be getting! I am hoping to get to a store to have a look at some point, the store near us had them in last year.

I ordered it from Toys 'R' Us. It's a plain one, not painted, but a teacher I work with has said that her husband will paint it and decorate it a bit for her, as he has just fininshed her daughters, abd he needs to occupy himself seeing as he's off work with a broken leg lol.
