my boyfriend has just text me to tell me he has fallen behind on his morgage and csa payments, i dont know the full details yet i said id speak to him in the morning as im no angry to talk to him right now, but im starting to panic as he has no way of paying back any debt on what he earns, i know from reading posts on here many people have debt management plans, would it be possible for him to get one of those to pay back these debts?

Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable will be along in the morning to advise you. But I am on a DMP with CCCS and they told me that they can't include any secured debts. So no mortgage or loans secured on property.

I think this was because you would be in danger of losing your home, so they are classed as essential payments?

Sorry that's probably not what you want to hear, hopefully someone will come along and prove me wrong.

I think you need some more details for people to give advice, which you wont know til tomorrow anyway, your best bet is to do a SOA with him and post it here for peeps to help.
