This is only information i have gathered from the internet and when speaking to 1 letting ageny, but when renting a property they do a search on things such as CCJ'S, Bankruptcy, Debt relief orders, and IVA's, this is because Rent Arrears can be included in all of these and wrote off, therefore leaving the landlord seriously out of pocket. Things like bad debt for credit cards, loans etc (which i have) they do not check for. And only lenders like bank, credit cards etc have access to this information anyway0

Just found this on checkmyfile, quite an interesting paragraph:
Any company that does not share account performance data with the credit reference agencies is not able to view account history within the searches it undertakes, and therefore the only data that can be viewed, or used in a score card calculation, is public information - basically the Electoral Roll, Insolvency and Court Action elements of your Credit Report.0 -
OK so how are you planning on paying back what you borrowed, are you thinking of a DMP because if you are then I would suggest speaking to a free one like CCCS or Payplan as they will be able to look at your budget with you and come up with a plan to pay it all back and still have enough to live on each month.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Been here for a long time and don't often post0 -
