Call from a window shutters company - anyone else?

I just received a call from someone regarding a competition I entered to win some window shutters. I believe it is from this competition - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3518359 although there are a few which have ended recently involving this company.

He said that although I had not won the main prize, I have won £100 worth of vouchers. I can't really talk to him as am in work so asked him to call back later. I've got an inkling this is probably £100 OFF rather than £100 worth of goods for free.

Has anyone else had a call?

If it's anything like the window blind company, everyone gets £100 and it's £100 discount on an order and everything is one heck of a price! Sorry

I had the same thing a few weeks back with Thomas Sandersons saying I had 'won' £100 voucher, turns out everyone who entered got one. Was curious about the cost of blinds for our conservatory so allowed someone to come out to quote, also got so many calls from them I thought this would at least stop them.
When the lady came out she told me instantly that the £100 is not valid with any other offer and that the discount they could offer would be more anyway.

3 hours later the lady handed us a quote for £4300. We laughed at how high it was, thanked her for her time and now when they phone (which they still do on a weekly basis) I just say I have already had an stupidly high quote so there is no point ringing anymore as there are many other things I would rather spend the best part of 5k on.

Every body who enters Sanderson competitions win a runner up prize off your purchase, and they will want to make an appointment for their salesman to call, just tell them you wanted to WIN shutters not BUY them.

I had Hilary's call after I had lost a competition offering me £100 discount and tried to arrange for someone to come around and measure for blinds. I said no thanks, lol.

Turns out it was as we all expected - a £100 discount voucher. They phone me at least three times a day. I never allow contact through tickboxes so I found this a little odd in the first place. I have answered the calls on a couple of occasions and have told them I'm not interested but they just keep phoning! Nuisance!

I had the same call, while I was in work, and asked them to ring me back. She said £100 voucher or 50% discount, whichever works better. I asked her to e-mail me as we rent, promptly got an e-mail through general sales e-marketing. Bit annoyed with the call as I definitely tick or untick no contact box.
