Today it's you, if you resign then tomorrow it will be someone else.
Management are obviously on her case and will be watching her like a hawk.

Having been bullied at work, I'd say your company sound pretty amazing for doing something about it - especially dismissing and suspending staff. Like mountainofdebt says, management will be watching her every move and if she's daft enough to start anything with other members of staff then she might as well sign her own dismissal. I can guarantee that it'll be well known what's been going off and although it's not easy for you to have been the catalyst for something like this, you really shouldn't worry yourself. Be professional and courteous and make yourself the bigger person - not easy, I know, but it will be better for you than leaving.0

Please talk to management before you go down the route of going off sick or leaving. Things should get easier after a few days, and if not, its worth explaining any behaviour she is displaying that is making it hard for you being there.
If she is ignoring you, if you can just get on with work and not worry too much about it, that is great. If she is acting passive aggressively towards you, it is worth mentioning to management as could be construed as more bullying and might be the last straw.
Another option might be asking if they can move her to a different role as you are struggling having her working with you. Possible.0 -
How is she playing the victim?
Give us an idea and we might be able to help manage this situation. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
I was bullied at work, by my line manager who was very senior, and I honestly feel for you. Knowing first hand how this feels, every day to be dreading going to work, not sleeping, crying, feeling like you're in the wrong.
You're not in the wrong, you have done more than many people may in your situation and you can walk with your head held high. Don't pay this lady any attention, get on with your work and be friendly to those around you. Don't let her spoil things for you. People who feel threatened like to drag others down to make themselves feel better. Let the people at your work get to know you - talk/laugh make others feel included. People will soon get to know the real you and ignore what the bully is saying. I bet many of them don't actually like her anyway *just a hunch*
Don't let the bully win. Remember you've done nothing wrong and been incredibly brave thus far. Feel proud of yourself!0 -
if your colleague is on her final warning I would be astounded if she passed wind in your direction...having someone sacked isn't a good thing, but if they are making your work more complicated & are being *rses, then make it known to them who boss!!
my sister is currently in the process of a bullying dispute (previous manager of the department who demoted herself!?!). Having worked there for years my sister got promoted & was given the department to run, but from day one got non stop torment (we have come to the conclusion its down to the 30 year age gap), from the whole department (all women). Unfortunately the management is a waste of time & has only given them a slap on the wrist, even though this has happened before, bullying other staff, temporarily transferred from other departments. my sister has now sourced alternative employment at another store and moves into the job next week.
keep your head up & show them what your made of!!!0
