New Job Offer Subject to Credit Check

Hi,

I recently applied for job as a Foreign Exchange Cashier and had the call to say I had been successful !

Only one thing is standing in my way..... A credit check :( I have a default from October last year which I pay off monthly so not yet satisfied and a couple of late payments from last year.

I am thinking that this is not looking great ! Has anyone any experience or advice please ?

Thanks

You never know what they are looking for on a credit check. I had one for TFL and I failed although I am not in arrears with anyone, never had an agreement to pay, never had a CCJ or anything against me.

It all depends what they are looking for and we would have no idea.

Nothing is clear from your credit file till it has been paid off in full for 6 years so they will be able to see the defaults and late payments etc.

    Good luck
