Is there any free parking within walking distance of Glasgow City Centre?

Hi there,
I am doing a mystery shop, tomorrow in GCC and wonder if there is anywhere to park, where I can avoid paying parking.
I'm prepared to walk a few miles.

I work round the corner from Central and most of my coworkers park at the Quay and walk over the bridge, its totally free and they always have lots of spaces but u need to park after 10 as that's when it opens
