What comps do you enter? Help please..

A lot of the comps I have been entering have just been standard form filling comps or answer a simple question. I am just wondering if this is the same for everyone?
I have only been doing this a week or so, and I am just wondering what peoples views are? Am I wasting my time?

I do form fills, dailys, rafflecopters, blog comments, facebook and twitter, on the principal that the more you enter the more chance you have to get a win!
I wouldn't say that you are wasting your time per se, but you are limiting your chances of winning by entering a select few.0 -
I do form fills, rafflecopters, comments and twitter. I don't FB, daily/weekly, or photo. I used to do postal and will glance at the effort ones.
Any prize is a prize no matter which end of the value scale it sits. If you're concentrating on I dunno, say the iPad comps or ITV, because so many people enter your chance of winning is very small which can put you off and make you feel you waste your time.
Personally I look at maybe 300+ comps a day and enter maybe 2/3 of that. I feel the more I enter the more chances I have to win thingsGolly, I've got the newt pregnant...

I do form fills, simple question, rafflecopter, Facebook, Twitter, email, dailies, weeklies and sometimes do blog comments if I really want the prize.
I sometimes do photo effort comps if it's a proper photography comp as I'm a photographer, but I don't do comps where you need to post on a forum etc.2019 Wins

form fills, rafflecopter, facebook, twitter, blog, pet photography ones, even some of the effort ones cause sometimes the 'effort' is just leaving a comment0

That really is all there is to it! Whether it's a waste of time or not depends on how you look at it. It can take up a lot of time, and there's no guarantee you'll win anything, but on the other hand, you could win loads of really great stuff - with most competitions, it's all down to chance.
I only use MSE - there's more than enough on here to keep me busy, as I have a full-time job and other hobbies. In terms of tracking, the only thing I do is use the tick function to make sure I'm not duplicating my entries (and the thanks function, of course). Some people keep spreadsheets, but I don't have time. I am considered getting a click counter though, after recently reading about how some people use those to keep a record of how many they're entering. It would be interesting to see the ratio of wins to entered. I do keep a record of my wins already.0
