Can't believe I haven't posted in ages! Things are going well. I've continued with overpayments. It feels a bit like a diet this money saving lark! One minute I'm tracking everything, the next I'm booking sneaky holidays, then back on track. Well I think I've managed to save £200 from the Christmas pressies budget. My bank will only allow overpayments of £500 minimum (this is a pain) so I'll stash it until I've got the other £300.
I don't think I can squeeze in any more overpayments this year...December's spare money is ear marked for a break in Rome in the new year. Thanks Lucky, so I just go in via Quidco and do my shop? I've been missing out all this time! I pay £3 to have my groceries delivered ALL month, I think this is good value and helps me budget. Normally what i do is go to tesco add your stuff to your basket then in a new tap open up quid co then hit the link for tesco and go straight to your basket and pay
The quid co page should say your visit has been logged
I made a order last night with iceland and forgot quid co over the corse of the year it should add up very nicely :]

Had our mortgage statement today. We've paid off £10000 in the last year👍

Wow, time has flown! Four months since I posted! Well I've overpaid £4020 in Aug, £4000 in June. I've been doing some extra days and saving every penny. Mortgage balance is now £145,400:T
The best bit is though, that the monthly repayment is £399 a month. When we started it was £476, so it's great to see what we are saving. It's interest only of course, hence the drive to pay off the capital.
