Hi chaps, I'm after some advice please - I'd like to buy my OH a watch for his 30th; something a bit special. As it won't be his main present my budget is max £100. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good style/ brand/ type that I could look at.
Many thanks, much appreciated,
KP

My son has had a Fossil watch for several years now & has had no problems with it - apart from changing the strap about 3 times

Rotary are a very good Swiss brand, but are often available at very reasonable prices.0

Do you want a *dress watch* or a *sports watch*......?
I bought my OH a Casio Gshock for his 35th.....he's now 43 & its needed a battery! Thats it!
I bought him a Citizen Eco for his 40th (as the Gshock is a bit chunky & he couldn't fasten shirt sleeves over it) but that was more than £100

I've always liked Seiko.
Got one for my 18th, it lasted years. Had some other brands since, but none have lasted as well as that. Got myself another a couple of years ago in the same style as the one I got for my 18th.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

But Gshocks are very over priced for a plastic chunky Casio (that used to cost just a few quid before they rebranded them Gshock).0 -

Really? £90 for a watch thats lasted 8 years, worn daily, been swimming & diving & every other wear & tear and still only needed a battery?
I'd call that a bargain.Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.

Not really. I've only ever had one watch that hasn't performed as well. And I've never paid as much as £90 for a watch.0 -
I would keep an eye on Hotukdeals..
If it gets hot it will be a bargain ..To say they are a tough crowd does not do their search for the cheapest and best justice

Nixon make great watches. My OH has had the one I bought him for well over 10 years and other than a new battery it's still in good condition.0
