The Co-operative Elmwood British whole chicken is down to £2 from £4.
They are very tasty, shame they didn't have any left in my branch.
Fine to freeze. Not massive but enough to feed my family of 5.

I saw that it said per KG but in my local they have never sold them, they only sell the ones for £4 or 3 for £10 so I assumed it was applied to them..Co-op, Whole Chicken Half Price to £2

Thanks for this, will pop into my local tomorrow to see if they have any, will buy a couple.
I was in there Sunday afternoon and the woman had just marked their cooked chickens down, hard to believe they charge £5.75 for a cooked chicken, marked down to £2, which is great, but would never pay full price for them.0 -
Picked one up this morning, of an entire shelf there were only two left. My single chicken came to £2.34. I would say the ones in my local Co-op will feed around 3 people each.'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0
