I don't believe theres much wrong with what he has done.

What has he done? I still haven't worked out what he's meant to have done let alone whether it's right or wrong.

The whole thrust of Milliband's nasty 'Tory toff' campaign ( a war cry enthusiastically parroted upon by some of the weaker minded here) is a hollow sham.

For all his boasts that he attended a comprehensive school, Milliband went to one of the posh showpiece comprehensives, his father was a millionaire academic and he was raised in that noted sink of depravity and deprivation, Hampstead.

By all means slam the Tories for being the party of privilege - but it would sound just a shade more convincing, and less like a cheap, hypocritical, soundbite, from the lips of a miner or a farm worker.

I think the point is that many in the Labour party deem 'tax avoidance' to be immoral. Clearly tax avoidance is just paying tax in the way mandated by the Government but some people don't see it that way.

It seems the government have lost effective control because of the existence of valid tax avoidance mechanisms.

Their response : make it a morality issue. They are doing the same with personal service companies at places like the BBC. Perhaps they shouldn't introduce carp rules like IR35 in the first place.

I think there is too much avoidance, but I dislike the idea of relying on morally right actions.

It's opposite Chalk Farm tube so would be near some pretty crap council estates (as everywhere in London is, really).

You go 5 minutes in the other direction and its Belsize Park.

    I said I don't think he's done much wrong.

You question me on what he'd done wrong. I don't get it.

That would be a Labour held constituency then?
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

Yes Glenda Jackson's (barely, though, just 42 votes were in it).

EDIT: actually there was a boundary review so it may just creep into Frank Dobson's.

You appear to be under the mistaken belief that Ed Milliband is a socialist. Therein lies your confusion
