Hi All, i have an interview on Friday its my first in 10 years so really scared. Any advice on what type of questions they may ask and tips on what questions i should ask them?
I have worked for my current employer for 10years doing export shipments, customer service, general admin and analysing data kpi's. Previous to that i worked at the Post Office and Pizza Hut.
Thanks in Advance

I know this isn't your first interview but the basic advice is sound.
Good luck!! Let us know how you get on.0 -
It's a school, so mention attention to detail, importance of keeping confidential records secure and confidences. It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

They'll want you to be very confident in the use of databases and excel spreadsheets and able to manipulate date
I would expect questions about managing your time, dealing with conflicting priorities, coping with interrruptions, and meeting deadlines. Also, as its a school possibly questions about how you would deal with people who are reluctant to give you the info you need to facilitate you doing your job ie testing your skills of persuasion and your assertiveness. Also, maybe, your willingness to take an 'alll hands on deck' approach when something major needs to get done
Most importantly, you'll need to demonstrate you can work on your own initiative (within appropriate confines of course) and find out things for yourself. Training for admin staff in schools is notoriously bad and you will need to have the confidence to find your own way around
Good luck0
