Thought I'd start a diary to keep me on track....

Hi everyone.
I've tried this before and almost done it. After having a new and very real lightbulb moment I've decided I am going to do this, this time so am going to keep a diary (mainly for my own benefit) to keep me on track. Didn't have the best experience on here before with my old account so set this one up a while ago but haven't used it much.
I'd like to go back to Uni so need to clear what I have on overdrafts and get saving. Funnily enough as an undergraduate I never touched an overdraft or credit card. Not once. So the return to Uni doesn't bother me, infact I would benefit from getting back into the student mindset. Then when I got a career I have no idea what happened. But anyway I am now here to sort it out
Lots of deep breaths and hopefully fun and frugality along the way.
I haven't yet worked out how to subscribe to other people's diaries. If anybody could enlighten me it would be much appreciated.

Hi Hayley, welcome to the board. To subscribe to diaries you need to select "Thead Tools" which is in the green bar at the top of the post and then "subscribe to this thread" just follow the prompts and you should be set up. If you want to have a look at all your subscribed threads just go to "Quick links" which is on the top green bar and then under Miscellaneous is "subscribed threads".

Managed a few NSD which is a miracle for me. Was rather helped by me being off work unable to talk
Really proud of myself.

Right I'm back and ready to get this diary rolling.
I am hoping to aim for 10 NSD in November. I have my notebook ready to write down my spending. I know I have 2 direct debits going out tomorrow but am hoping for a NSD tomorrow apart from those. I have Uni work to sit and do so won't be heading out anywhere. I'm going to sit and make a "Dream Board" tomorrow to motivate me towards the things I can do once I'm back in the blackTime for some debt busting in 2015 - Light Bulb Moment 4/4/15

Ooh I like the £5. Sometimes I get bogged down about not getting anywhere but if I were to do small amounts I may feel a bit more motivated. Thank youTime for some debt busting in 2015 - Light Bulb Moment 4/4/15

It's a really good motivating tool coz you are constantly thinking of how to make money to throw at the debts! I've just banked a cheque for music magpie and also have my quidco cash back coming plus money in PayPal for eBay sales. Not a lot but it all helps! Need to list more stuff on Gumtree and eBay for some more pennies! Aiming for a NSD today, think that would be a good way to start the month
