I have a tiny house with no heating and would love a wood burner! I don't have a chimney or flue though.0

You dont need a chimney as you can buy a double walled flue which you run out up the side of the house.
Expensive but for us it was the best thing we ever done0 -
Mine didn't cost anything.
Well, apart from an empty gas bottle, a grinding disc, some odd bits of steel and a welding rod.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Hi Suzanne! I also have a multifuels stove & I've only moved into our place 2 months ago & I love it! Its big (8kw) chucks out a lot of heat. Not to heat the whole house mind but when I shut the livingroom doors its like a sauna. At the moment we haven't anywhere dry to store a tonne of wood so we buy them in bags (very big bags) from a merchat for £1 each. There is a lot there & we fill a priest hole in the inglenook with wood & it dries out nicely. I use fire lighters cos its easier. I tend to leave the door ajar to start her up as I find it draws better. Each to their own as every one has ther own way.
I buy kindling from the corner shop & get a big bag for £1. We also have a tree which we need to be cut up but as I said we have nowhere to store lots of wood but its in the pipeline!
I live on the snowdonia hills & really can't wait to light her in the snow!!0 -

Just Google "gas bottle" "wood burner", you'll get loads of hits.
I sold one on ebay a couple of years back for about £125, ought to make some more really.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
