i think this should go into that 'moral dilemma' section wherever it is that goes out with the e-newsletter

while the terms may just say open to u.k residents, i think that is more a requirement by law and i am sure they are really doing this in the interest of their target readers and not upto 5,000+ well and able bodied uk members of mse

just my thoughts, but i tend to stay away from competitions like this [target audience] , theres plenty more ipads out there and it makes me feel better knowing that i am not intruding on someone elses chance of winning for whom the contest was meant, whether it be disabled, kids, diabetics or newlyweds etc

    :shhh:

Apparently everything has a happy ending and if you havent arrived at the happiness, it hasnt ended yet

  • Do I register for myself???

or do you register in the other persons name???

    Thanks. :)
  • This is a case of finding a useful website via comping for me. I am disabled, so I don't have fnc63's moral dilemma, but I think he/she does have a point. I don't enter comps from sites targetted at mums with babies or small kids because I don't have children - it would seem rude to do so when someone struggling to make ends meet might need the prize more.
  • My Mum's registered disabled so I'll enter it for her xx

  • I don't know if the site is working and also see no mention at all of the competition, is it over?

Gotta say glad this was posted as wasn't aware of this website...I too am disabled and it's nice to find a site that can help and give good advice.

I ask nicely, if there is something for the disabled specific please don't take advantage if you are not disabled.

I remember there was a freebie ages ago aimed at people with a certain health problem. It was posted on here and everyone swamped the site for the freebie. Soon after a message came up saying they couldn't give any more freebies away as people were abusing their offer who and people who really could have benefited from it and for who it was intended for missed out.
